2017 is quickly coming to an end however November’s upcoming releases promise to give movie goers of all kinds something to sink their teeth into. Here’s a list of the best films you should look out for this month.
Jigsaw – 2 November
The Saw franchise is back with its eighth instalment Jigsaw. Set 10 years after the (SPOILER) death of Jigsaw, dead bodies start to turn up around the city in a Jigsaw like manner.
Tobin Bell returns as Jigsaw, and stars alongside Australian Matt Passmore, Callum Keith Rennie, Hannah Emily Anderson and Cle Bennett.
Murder on the Orient Express – 9 November
A murder mystery based on an Agatha Christie novel. The film follows a detective as he tries to find and catch a murderer on a train full of strangers before he kills again.
Murder on the Orient Express stars a massive cast including Daisy Ridley, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Penelope Cruz, Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench, Willem Dafoe and Josh Gad.
Detroit – 9 November
From The Hurt Locker director Kathryn Bieglow comes a fact-based drama about the Algiers Motel incident in 1967 which involved the death of three black men. Detroit was praised on it’s release in the US, collecting an 82% ‘certified fresh’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The film stars Star War‘s John Boyega, The Maze Runner‘s Will Poulter, Straight Outta Compton‘s Jason Mitchell, Sing Street‘s Jack Reynor and Marvel’s Anthony Mackie.
Justice League – 16 November
For many, Justice League is one of the most anticipated films of the year and its not hard to see why. Following the success of Wonder Woman, Justice League will be DC’s answer to Marvel’s Avengers.
The main cast will star Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavil as Superman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Ray Fisher as Cyborg, as well as a supporting cast featuring Robin Wright, Amy Adams, Connie Nielsen, Amber Heard, Diane Lane, Kiersey Clemons, J.K. Simmons and Jeremy Irons.
The Disaster Artist – 30 November
Now for the movie that is going to be better than the movie it is about. The Disaster Artist is the true story of the behind-the-scenes into the making of The Room.
This film stars an outrageously amazing cast (most of which will probably only be cameos) including James Franco, Alison Brie, Dave Franco, Seth Rogen, Kristen Bell, Josh Hutcherson, Zoey Deutch, Lizzy Caplan, Zac Efron, Bryan Cranston, Jason Mantzoukas, Adam Scott, Sharon Stone, Kate Upton, J.J. Abrams, Judd Apatow, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Zach Braff, Hannibal Buress, Randall Park, Paul Sheer, Jason Mitchell and the creator of the original film himself, Tommy Wiseau.
