The Walking Dead, for those of you don’t know, is a dystopian TV show about the world being taken over by zombies and the remaining humans have divided into groups, trying to survive rival humans as well as zombies (who are played by real people, there’s a fun fact for you). After 7 seasons of this very popular show that hits about 12 million viewers an episode, it’s only natural that fans would want a movie.
In a talk with Comicbook, the show’s front runner Scott Gimple has hinted that “one way or another, I think it’ll happen”, when asked about a Walking Dead movie. “I think it’ll be cool.”
However, when asked about his ideal casting for a reboot, Gimple surprised everyone by saying this:
“William Shatner as Rick. We’ll get Edward James Olmos as Daryl. Hit all the big shows! Matthew Fox as the Governor!” joked Gimple.
Although fans aren’t likely to be get a Walking Dead movie anytime soon with season 8 of the show being launched in 2017, it would definitely be cool to see Rick and Daryl on the big screen, just hanging out and being BFFZ forever.
