Here’s everything you need to know about the MasterChef Australia 2023 Grand Final so that you can firm up your plans ahead of time and kick back and relax during the episode.
When is the MasterChef final?
The MasterChef finale airs at 7:30pm on July 16 on Channel 10 and 10Play. It will run for two hours.
Who’s in the MasterChef finale?
Each week, judges have eliminated Home Cooks and whittled down the contestants from 18 to just two. Those hopefuls heading into the MasterChef finale are Rhiannon and Brent.
What is the final challenge?
The final challenge is a bit of a mash-up of the regular MasterChef tasks and has two separate segments.
In the first round, hosts Andy Allen, Jock Zonfrillo and Melissa Leong each present a challenge to the finalists in the form of a mystery box, a secret challenge, or an ingredient.
Brent and Rhiannon will have the power to remove one challenge, leaving them with a single task.
In the second round, the two finalists must recreate a dish that’s set by internationally acclaimed pastry and chocolate chef Amaury Guichon.
What is the winning prize?
The Home Cook who scores the most points over the two rounds will be crowned the MasterChef Australia 2023 winner and receive $250,000 in prize money.
The MasterChef Australia Grand Finale airs Sunday, July 16 at 7.30pm on 10 and 10Play.
