This is it, the moment we’ve all been waiting for. After so many teases and short snippets, the final trailer has been released for the highly anticipated live action adaption of the Disney classic, Beauty and the Beast. Holy moly, it is fantastic.

This is too beautiful. Source.

The trailer is plot heavy, giving us a detailed rundown of what the film will entail – and for fans of the OG film, things will seem familiar to you as it starts in the heart of Belle’s quaint and rustic town. Ushered in with a soft piano piece, we are acquainted with Belle and her love for books, as well as Gaston and his love for himself (believe me, I bet he wanted to kiss his reflection). Nostalgia will overwhelm you as scenes from the original animated film are brought to life once again, and these moments include: the wolves attacking Belle and the Beast coming to save her, the backdrop of snow as Belle and the Beast exchange glances, and the absolutely stunning ballroom dance.

Come on. Look at that! Source.

Not only are the visuals gorgeous and the acting down pat, the biggest aspect about this final trailer is the song they’ve featured in it. Accompanied by the melody of the theme song, we are officially introduced the vocals of Ariana Grande and John Legend into the film and let’s just say, it’ll give you chills.

The minor details are the ones that count. We are given a longer glimpse at Luke Evans being downright cocky as Gaston, the wonderful Kevin Kline as Belle’s papa Maurice, and Ewan McGregor with his rather hilarious French accent as Lumiere. While Dan Stevens is completely covered in CGI as the Beast, it’ll surely be overlooked as the film dazzles with its music and visuals. It’s only a matter of time.

Beauty and the Beast will waltz into cinemas on March 23rd.
