Drop everything you’re doing and listen up! Game of Thrones has just dropped the premiere date for the next season accompanied with a short and damn amazing teaser. This is not a drill! July 16, peeps. And let’s just say the teaser is lit.

Game of Thrones is one of those show you kind of have to continue whether your heart is broken or not. Season 6 left us in a pretty good position where all sides were reaching breaking point and everyone seemed to be prepared to fight. It brings forth a plethora of questions: Who will sit on the Iron Throne? Who will win the great war? What will happen to our favourite characters? Will we finally have a cameo of Khal Drogo? All these questions may be answered in this upcoming season.

The short clip doesn’t reveal much in terms of what the season will entail, but we’re given a warning about each house and the potential chaos they will bring down on the torn land of Westeros.

“Lannister, Targaryen, Baratheon, Stark, Tyrell,” says Cersei Lannister in the clip. “They’re all just spokes on a wheel. This one’s on top then that one’s on top, and on and on it spins, crushing those on the ground.”

If that isn’t ominous enough, I don’t know what is. We are ready for the bloodbath.
