⭐EVERYONE ⭐THE WAIT IS OVER! 🦋⭐I am beyond excited to release my first ever song and music video with you! This is a very personal song; written, recorded and filmed with lots of love and tears… and now shared with a whole lotta joy. 💜⭐✨The story that goes along with this song is just as important as the song itself. I'm incredibly humbled and grateful to have had the opportunity to sing it for you live, all over the world, and now, to be able to share it with you here. Excuse me while I explode. 🐋💕 So… written by @brandonrobertyoung & @justinhalpin produced by @pantslauer captured by @riverside.ent and inspired by @tmjbowen and my wonderful family. Without further ado… This is “Love Steps In”. ❤✨ #LoveStepsIn Thank you to @rollingstone for debuting my music video and for writing such a lovely article. Link to article in bio. (All proceeds from the sales of this song will benefit @stjude Children's Research Hospital)

In one of the social media posts, Clare said,

“I am beyond excited to release my first ever song and music video with you! This is a very personal song; written, recorded and filmed with lots of love and tears… and now shared with a whole lotta joy.”

The song, titled “Love Steps In”, is dedicated to her brother Timothy Bowen, who received news in 2015 that he had been diagnosed with stage four lymphoma. On the ordeal, Clare wrote,

“We can’t put our arms around our family right now. Which is excruciating. So hang onto each other for us, for Timothy, for our family. The battle has just begun – it’ll be the one that makes him the man he is meant to be… but I still wish it was me sick instead. But everything happens for a reason, and as Nana used to say: This too, shall pass.”

The film clip is extremely personal, featuring Clare Bowen’s old family photographs, tour footage as well as her fiancé Brandon Robert Young. The song itself may not be new, but it will be the first time fans can see the love behind its words. All proceeds, according to Clare’s social media posts, will go to benefit the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Timothy Bowen has been in remission since March 2016.
