One person has died and three others have been injured after a shooting occurred near a polling booth in Azusa, California.
Police are currently looking for a heavily armed female suspect and possibly one other male suspect.
The victims have been identified as females and two males.
The Memorial Park polling booth has been sent into lock-down as well as several nearby schools.
Azusa Police Chief Steve Hunt has told the Los Angeles Times that the shooter’s motives are not yet known, but the shooting seems to have been concentrated on the surrounding residential area rather than the polling booth itself. Police are saying there is no evidence that the shooting is directly related to election day.
The incident occurred at approximately 2pm Tuesday local time.
