Boston based sneaker boutique, Bodega, have been a well known name in the sneaker world. They’re regarded as being one of the most innovative and unique stores through the collaborations they pump out, to the kickass store which, if you didn’t know what you were looking for, you might assume to be selling noodles instead of some shoes.
Bodega’s lineage has spanned multiple fashion trends, and through all this they have remained at the top of the shoe market. Some of my favourite pairs have come out of their ongoing partnership with Saucony, which produced collaborations just oozing originality, and as always sported materials of the finest quality. Along with Saucony, Bodega have used the Reebok brand to develop some classic shoes, and their next release looks to be the best they have done yet.
For their 10th birthday, Bodega have chosen to use Reebok’s NPC UK silhouette to its full advantage. With a rich, buttery, royal blue suede and purple accents, you’ll be walking in luxury wherever you go. Ten stars shine across the heel to commemorate the 10 years of business and the tongue features a special graphic. A gum sole tops the shoe off to break up the colours and to further add to the class. Each pair bought from the store will come with a branded blue tennis ball.
Who wouldn’t want a regal take on a tennis sneaker? The shoe will be released on August 20th on Bodega’s site and also in store, for the low price of $100usd.
