Harry Potter is turning 20 this year, and to celebrate Bloomsbury U.K are giving us two new books about the wizarding world.

While the books aren’t written by J.K Rowling, it seems that they will provide some further insight into the wonderful wizarding world that is Harry Potter.

The first book is titled Harry Potter: A History of Magic, The Book of the Exhibitionand it will take a closer look at the subjects which can be studied at Hogwarts.

The second book is titled Harry Potter, A Journey Through a History of Magic and it will include sketches and facts from the wizarding world as well as some recipes for potion brewing.

Both books are the a result of a a collaboration between J.K Rowling and the curators of the British Library and both will include illustrations by Jim Kay. The releases will accompany the British Library’s Harry Potter exhibit which is set to open in October.

More Harry Potter? Yes please! Source.

While there doesn’t seem to be an official release date for international Potter fans, we’re going to assume the books will eventually make their way to people outside the U.K. (Please, please, please, please, please, please).

The books are in addition to some pretty awesome things which recently been giving fans cause for excitement such as: the release of house editions of The Philosopher’s Stonethe Harry Potter and the Cursed Child stage show; and release of five Fantastic Beasts films.

While we won’t be seeing our favourite Potter characters feature in a new story anytime soon, there is certainly enough going on in the Harry Potter universe to keep our taste for Butterbeer well satiated.

With fans of the franchise making an independent film about Voldemort, it’s hard to believe Harry Potter will ever really go away. But of course, that’s just the way we want it.
